have. With swine flu epidemic and closures of hospitals ERs have become
overcrowded. A normal ER has 12 beds. However, it becomes 24 because
put two beds in one cubicle so we have 1-A, 2-A, etc. The hallway are filled
with beds arranged alphabetically, from A to Z. So that’s another 26 beds.

the senator. I asked him if he heard that Speaker Nograles has
resurrected the Charter change and is aggressively butting for its
passage. Nograles as we all know is Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s alter
ego and as such he will dig a sewer with his bare hands for her.

napkin folding to Minister and Consul Andrelita Austria (right), while First
Secretary and Consul Arlene Magno (third from right) and the Embassy staff
work on theirs. Beginning with a brief history on the art of napkin folding,
Mrs. Penaranda demonstrated eight different styles of napkin folding. The
Table Napkin Folding Session is part of the continuing efforts of the
Embassy to harness the potentials of its employees. The Staff
Development Program began in April of this year.
